The Mentorship Experience

You'll meet face to face with your alumni mentor before you arrive on campus, probably in your hometown, and then at least once each semester during your years at Cornell. In addition, you'll stay connected with your mentor while you're on campus by e-mail correspondence, phone calls, written letters or whatever other forms of communication you both find convenient. We recommend that you interact with your mentor a minimum of one to two times a month. You and your mentor may also consider options such as job shadowing, accompaniment to professional events or similar activities.
