Event Descriptions
This series provides an opportunity for current students to meet with alumni during a series of several lunches throughout the semester. Each lunch features an alumnus or alumna, with an effort to ensure that a variety of career fields be represented throughout the semester. These lunches offer students direct access to alumni who can answer questions regarding a specific career area/field.
Young Alumni Connection:
Twice a year, the Cornell Alumni-Mentoring Program provides opportunities for students to connect with alumni mentors who have graduated within the last ten years. Each event features several alumni who provide advice on a particular topic or issue. Past topics have included "Opportunities Beyond the Classroom", "The Path to Campus Leadership", and "Preparing for Graduate/Professional School."
Networking Receptions:
These events seek to unite experienced alumni mentors with current student participants. The reception serves as a forum for students to interact with each other and with alumni who can share career-related information and advice. To date, CASMP networking receptions have been held in Ithaca and New York City.
Just for fun:
The CASMP also holds events on campus for students to get together and have fun. Past events have included study-break ice cream socials, bowling challenges, and movie nights.
